A training week was held at the University of Granada on October 21st and 24th, 2024, as part of the Erasmus+ DeSIRe project. This international collaboration aims to equip Armenian and Georgian higher education institutions with 21st-century soft skills, aligning with modern labor market demands. During the training sessions, participants engaged in discussions on various educational topics, including:
- Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (led by María Ángel Martínez Sánchez, Núria Bernadés Rodríguez, and María Fernández Cabezas)
- Digital Literacy and Teaching Programs (led by Vanessa Gámiz Sánchez)
- Fundamental Skills for Entrepreneurship (led by Ana Isabel Rodríguez Martínez)
- Utilization of MOOCs (led by Alberto Guillen Perales and Ignacio José Blanco Medina)
Plans for the project include additional training sessions at European universities, online training modules, and pilot program integration into participating institutions’ curricula. At the conclusion of the project, a specialized training program will be introduced, featuring five courses worth 5 ECTS credits each and five MOOCs aimed at professors, students, and the general public.
