The 5th Panel on Trade and Trade Related Regulatory Cooperation linked to Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreements – Business to Business and Business to Government contacts was organised by European Commission under the aegis of the Eastern Partnership Initiative on November 25-26, 2010, in Brussels.
Representatives of European Commission, governments, business associations and academia from EU and Eastern Partnership countries discussed the opportunities and challenges related to Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement. During the panel it was stated that in order to enhance dialogue and improve information and guidance it is important that Eastern Partnership Countries approximate to EU institutional set-up and integrate in the existing structures.
Head of the Business Research Centre at Ilia State University, Prof. Dimitri Japaridze participated in this two days event together with the representatives of Georgian business community, academia and NGOs. He delivered a presentation: „Increasing Member Companies Competitiveness through Engagement in B2B and B2G Processes” (see the presentation).
