CONNECT Project Management Meeting, Moldova

On May 15-21, 2022 the management meeting of the consortium members was held in Moldova within the framework of the CONNECT Project „Connecting universities-industry through smart entrepreneurial cooperation and competitive intelligence of students in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia (CONNECT)”, co-funded by the EU under the Erasmus+ program. Invited lecturer of Ilia State University, Bondo Gasviani participated in the visit.

🔰The program of the event was comprehensive and covered various types of activities, including presentations during the International Scientific Conference from partners on the development of the project.

🔰Management meeting was hosted by several higher education institutions from Moldova: Moldova State University, Technical University of Moldova ( TUM), State University ,,Alecu Russo” Balti ( USARB), Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts ( AMTAP), in order to show the capacities of Moldovan universities in terms of supporting entrepreneurship and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

🔰AMTAP organized the visit to ArtCor, roundtable discussion was held on the topic of: “Entrepreneurial skills in career development of students in creative and cultural industries (CCI)”, familiarization with the experience of YEP!Moldova Project, IREX, student experience in business launch.

🔰TUM organized the visit to Tekwill, familiarization with projects in the field of entrepreneurship, business innovation, cooperation with IT companies, visit to ZIPHOUSE, presentation of business acceleration programs in the fashion industry.

🔰“Alecu Russo” Balti State University facilitated the visit to the Free Economic Zone “Balti”, exploring there the experiences of education, research and innovation, projects in the field of innovation-based economy – new vision for Regional Development. An effective dialogue with Stela PRIPA, deputy administrator in education, research and innovation, Free Economic Zone “Balti” was done. A visit to the German company Draexlmaier Automotive, was also organised by USARB. During this visit the educational partnership for a sustainable economy was presented by Mr. Vadim BUBULICI, head of Professional Education, DRAEXLMAIER Group.
